My Stubborn Yeast Infection Has Gone! Want to know my secret? Let Me Tell You ...

What causes yeast infection? Do I have it? Here are my symptoms, what do you think it is?

I’ve probably had this infection for at least a month or two and I wasn’t so sure what it was. I am experiencing – White discharge that tends to stick to the walls of my labia (sp?) Itchy here and there, and that is pretty much it. I have one sex partner which is my husband and we both have been faithful to one another. I have douched before and I have used condoms. Could these items be causing this? Should I purchase some Vagisil when I can? Thanks in advance!

it is posible for you to have thrush the syptoms you are experiencing are very similar, you can pick up canesten throush treatment for any chemist! it is harmless and wont cause you any problems other than discomfort! you dont only catch it through sex, it is cause by an imbalance of bacteria down below, it can be cause but tight underwear, certain scented soap, poor hygeine and touching there with dirty hands!

    Sounds like a yeast infection.

For future, reference, douching is bad, and may have caused the problem.

If it’s your first infection, go to the doctor to rule out other factors. Otherwise, some OTC yeast medications will probably work.

    What causes it?
Everyone has yeast organisms in the rectum and vagina. You also have certain amounts of “good” bacteria. When you take an antibiotic, the antibiotic fights the bad bacteria that is causing an infection like strep throat. Sometimes the antibiotic also kills too much of the good bacteria and the fungus that causes a yeast infection is allowed to grow. Hormonal changes during the menstrual cycle can also cause yeast infections, as well as frequent sexual intercourse. You can also get a yeast infection because of poor personal hygiene, or if you wear tight-fitting pants or synthetic underwear that create too much heat and moisture in the genital area.

    Symptoms of Vaginal Yeast Infection

    vaginal itching
    vaginal burning
    vaginal irritation
    painful urination
    painful sexual intercourse
odorless vaginal discharge (may be thick whitish-gray and cottage-cheese-like or may be watery in consistency)

Yes that is a yeast infection, it probably smells horrible too. This is caused by the same fungus that makes athletes foot and ringworm. The trick is to keep very clean, as in wash out with water regularly, it does not harm you. Avoid manmade fiber panties, use cotton only. dont touch your feet (or anyone elses) and then directly touch your vagina or perineal area. Eliminate yeast encouraging foods from your diet such as breads, and junk food. if you have to use a medical treatment to get rid of it, then just follow what I said above. There is nothing more disgusting that I know of then a yeast infection, for your own and your mans benifit, wash her out, every day.

One more thing: If your partner is infected, you can end up playing ping-pong with it.

He needs to treat himself with Miconazole. There’s a generic out there. White fluffy cream. I hesitate to say it, but it is the same active ingredient as in athlete’s foot medicine. Don’t get creative with medications.

The white discharge is called smegma.

Beyond that, he needs to _always_ wash his penis with plain water. Peel back the foreskin and rinse off the glans thoroughly. The body has natural antibodies which fight the yeast; they are defeated by soap.

It is more frequent in uncircumcised men.

Sounds like you have thrush, which can be a result of douching , thrush is just an over production of yeast, which is naturally found in a woman’s womb in small quantities but douching ,, being overly warm making you sweat, or with some women taking antibiotics can cause an over production of yeast (candida). It wont go away on its own, probably get worse if you don’t treat it.
the symptoms you have sound like you have thrush.
It isn’t classed as an STD but it can irritate the male and cause itchiness and in some cases discharge.
go to the chemist there are a number of remedies you will find the duo tablet and cream the best (canistan) its nothing to be embarrassed about ,, just ask the pharmacist for the best remedy if unsure.
