Yeast Infection from Groin, can it move to inside penis causing yeast infection there?

Can a yeast infection of the groin move into the Penis and cause a yeast infection there? I have been diagnosed with groin yeast infection and was wondering if it could spread to the penis because i have had painful urination for a while?

    yes it can go there, if i were you i would check if i had gonoria or other sexual diseases
