My Stubborn Yeast Infection Has Gone! Want to know my secret? Let Me Tell You ...

Women Only: Be rid of yeast infection quickley?

I’m pretty sure I have a yeast infection. For those who have had it, you know how uncomfertable, itchy and painful it can get.

Is there anything I can do to be rid of the yeast infection quickley without taking medication or anything similar to that? But if you think something really does work, please let me know.
Thanx 4 reading,
Carla
ps. this is my first yeast infection.

The best way to get rid of a yeast infection is by use of antifungal. I know you said you didn’t want medicine, but as you said, they are itchy and painful and all-around annoying. They make one day treatments, so you can take the treatment at night (it’s a cream inserted in to the vagina) and be rid of it by morning. In my experience though, and I have heard that one and three day treatments aren’t the best… and i usually opt for the seven day treatment. Also, if this is your first yeast infection, you should be diagnosed by a doctor just to make sure it’s not something else.
And… yogurt is good for preventing yeast infections, but it’s not a cure. he bacteria found in yogurt help to keep the yeast levels down, which is why it prevents yeast infections.
And do not douche with ANYTHING. Douching is REALLY bad for you as it strips the vagina of it’s natural bacteria (which are essential fo keeping yeast away) and lubricants, which makes things very uncomfortable.

There is cream you can get – from most pharmacies i would imagine, tends to work fairly fast – and takes away the itching and heat really well, ask someone at the counter

Try natural yoghurt, the homemade type. Eating it and smearing it ‘down there’ helps restore the natural balance of good bacteria.

I don’t think there’s any home remedies that work really well. I know there’s a pill called Difulcan (sp?) that you take once and is supposed to work wonders.

i have yougert helps, but i swear by monistant 1 ovule day/night. it’s expensive, but it’s one treatment and comes with a cream to make the itch go away. i would wear a pad or pantyliner for the first day as the ovule will break and the goo will come back out for the first day. relief with the cream is about 2-3 min and for total relief about 2 days

There’s the edible stuff – yogurt (with active cultures), cranberry juice, etc.

The hygiene stuff – take a warm bath for 30 minutes in apple cider vinegar, wear loose clothing and no panties to bed, and give it some time.

If the natural stuff really DOESN’T work, I’d recommend seeing a doctor. You could try something called (of all things!) Metrogel. It works like a dream!

Try this website here’s an example:

    YOGHURT
put the yogurt in plastic tampon applicators and freeze them, and then you’ve got little yogurt-sicles to use. OR just simply apply it directly to the vulva

Canestan cream to kill the yeast and yoghurt to restore the natural bacteria and competitively inhibit the yeast. Dip a tampon in yoghurt and insert immediately before it swells.
