I was just at the GYN doc today, complaining of frequent yeast infections. I asked her if my husband could have one, and be passing it back to me, and she said no, it is not sexually transmitted. So there you go. A man can have a yeast infection, but it doesn’t transmit back and forth.

Men actually produce more yeast than women and yes, it is sexually transmitted.

Yeast infections can develop in areas of the body that are wet. A lot of babies actually get yeast infections in their motuhs because it’s wet and they drink a lot of milk. I dn’t know if it’s contagious or not, but I’m sure it’s very uncomortable to have sex with a yeast infection.
