Not telling him you have a yeast infection is like letting him perform oral and not telling him you’re on your period.

If he knows what it is and he is mature enough, your fine. Just tell him your having vaginal problems.

They are gross and I’m glad I can’t get one.

The only time I tell my husband that I have one is if he is asking for sex. I just let him know that unless he wants to catch it, then he’ll just have to wait. I don’t go into detail about it because that would gross anybody out, but quite frankly, he’s a man, and just really doesn’t care about what’s going on down there unless he’s in the mood.

Guys consider stuff like this to be ‘women problems’ – not many guys understand the workings of gynaecology – he’ll probably be more worried that he cant have sex with you while you’re waiting for it to clear up!

if he cares about you, he will understand you and respect your health. these things are easily treatable and he is not at risk at harming his own health.
i would get all of the information i could about it and talk to him about how it will be treated and how long you will be feeling a little crummy down there.
he should be more than understanding.
    hope you feel better!

If he cares, he’ll get over it.
My girlfriend had one a few weeks ago, to be honest I didn’t know too much about them, so I asked her questions and supported her while she was feeling yucky with it.

If he loves you he will understand. You are right! Its not like it’s an Std. It’s just a weird thing to have to explain because so many people are ignorant to the subject.

I have found eating yogurt everyday really helps keep you normal. The active cultures are good for your digestive tract but also for regulating that area and killing yeast.

    We love it!

Ok, we understand about those things. We took health in school and aren’t grossed out about it. Let him know and I’m sure he’ll be fine with it.

Depends on how mature your hunny is. If he’s a grown fricken man he won’t be grossed out and will offer help in getting things etc. We know things happen, and we’re mature enough to handle it like adults. Well, most of us anyway.

I find it disgusting, as is any infection, and it’s pretty normal for all people, not just men, to think that. Your husband will accept the fact that you have an infection, but in no way will he actually like it, and yeah, he’ll be grossed out. Also, men can get yeast infections as well, so keep that in mind if you have plans on having sex; I would imagine that to be very irritating and uncomfortable to have, so spare your husband and refrain from sex until it’s passed.
